The performance area will be covered with black dance floor.
(This will be laid over the short pile carpet, with an intermediate wood layer).
There is no fixed staging, but the stage area includes a raised dais approximately 300mm (12') high, with intermediate step at front and sides.[*]
Some of the width may need to be kept clear of set and props to allow for fire access. However, it will be available to be acted upon.
Wing spaces are defined by black drapes, which are also used to create a cross-over behind the performance area.

Technical SpecificationLighting

The lighting provided in The Sanctuary is our most flexible rig, including a combination of moving lights, LED general cover, LED back/side lights and conventional fixtures. An ETC Ion is provided for control.

Sound

This space has 2 flown speakers covering the audience, 2 subs under the seating and 2 flown foldback speakers covering the stage. A Behringer X32 digital mixer is provided for control. 2 SM58 microphones are provided, and a 16-channel digital stage box can be used in the stage-right wing or on stage for live audio. Additional foldback speakers are available for use on stage or in the wing for bands.Radio mics can be provided at an extra cost.

 

Projection1920 x 1080p, on 3.6m motorised screen upstage.QLab 4 is available in-house, and an HDMI connection is available at the technical desk for other devices.
QLabA Mac Mini with QLab 4 is available for playback of sound and projection from the technical desk.
