Star of My Life
Music by Robert Barham
Words Traditional
You are the star of each night
You are the brightness of the morning
You’re the story of each guest
This history of each land
And you are the star the star of my life
You are the centre of my heart
You are the face of my joy
You’re the harp of my music
The crown of my company
For you are the star the star of my life
No evil shall befall you on land or sea
My love is always with you, through history
For you mean everything to me
You’re the harp of my music
The crown of my company
For you are the star, the star of my life
The star of my life
Snow
Words and Music
Robert Barham
Falling from the sky floating drifting
Lighting up the sky sliding gliding
Rushing to my window
Hoping all the ground is covered
Snow boots waiting children calling
Ready to go out in the snow
Running in the snow sliding falling
Over fields we go sleighing rolling
Snowballs flying pathways hiding
All the ground is covered
Snowmen smiling castles climbing
Building a new home in the snow
Gliding on snow wind in my hair
Faster we go sliding through air
Clouds are breaking
Sky turns to blue
Now the sun is shining
Snow is melting
Shining in the sky glowing warming
Slowly melts the snow
Slushing gushing
Heading homewards back through Oak woods
Past my melting snowman
Fireplace warming supper calling
Time to say goodbye to the snow
